Today I made what was probably my last trip to Osaka. I went to Tempozan Harbor Village to do some souvenir shopping at the big mall there. Last time I was there it was ungodly hot; today was freezing. I don't think it got out of the 30s today, and being downtown and right on the water without a coat was not very pleasant. But it made curling up in my futon when I got home all the more pleasant, I suppose.
One thing I've noticed is that you don't see a whole lot of Japanese flags here. Every once in a while you'll see one, and they seem to appear mostly around national holidays. But people don't fly flags outside their homes, and it's not like American businesses where every Thornton's gas station in the US has a big flag flying. Interesting.
Tomorrow will be a big homework day. I've got two final papers due on Friday, and a final oral exam on Thursday, plus a lesson quiz on Monday. Busy week. But that's okay, because it means I'll be coming home soon!
Two more weeks. Wow.
